by trustedjobsformom

Affiliate marketing is an exciting avenue for those seeking to generate passive income. But, like every journey, the beginning is often riddled with challenges and uncertainty. Let’s embark on this journey, and I will guide you through the best affiliate programs tailored for beginners in 2021.

What to Know Before Jumping Into Affiliate Marketing:

1. Niche Selection: Before diving in, ensure you’re passionate about the niche you select. Your enthusiasm and knowledge will be your most significant selling points. The more authentic you are, the more your audience will likely trust your recommendations.

2. Traffic Is Key: No matter how great the program is, you need traffic to make conversions. A consistent content strategy over 4-6 months can help attract a steady stream of visitors.

3. Relevant Content: The content you offer should align with your chosen niche. Relevant content increases the chances of sales and enhances the probability of program approval.

Remember, if you tick these boxes initially, you may avoid challenges. However, perseverance and strategic adjustments can pave the way for success.

I’m thinking of going with Amazon, they seem to make it easier for me, not to mention the huge product selection. I know they drastically cut their commissions a while ago but I think this will be a good start for a noob like me. Adsense and Amazon for the first 5-6 months and then I’ll maybe sign up for other programs. I first want to make these 2 work and test different layouts of ads and see how it goes.

Feeling so overwhelmed right now… I’m a stay at home mom with a lot on my plate but I kinda feel like missing out on this whole online income situation. I already have a blog but I never monetized it so this could be a great start.
